About Nancy
Nancy Bassett is a PVAMU graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a life long intertwined with writing and editing. Through years of teaching kiddos in multiple countries and operating in versatile functions within a non-profit, Nancy tried her best to run away from the one thing she wanted to do. But can one really run from writing? She found herself consistently drawn to and trusted with managing the writing process of various technical documents and creative writing projects. While exploring new territories, Nancy spent three months participating in an intensive writing program in Thailand.
Currently, Nancy provides freelance writing and editing services to businesses and individuals. While eager to learn new things, she spends significant time learning about Christ, holistic health, good food, science fiction, and wealth building. She is the author of “The Reset: A 7-day Journey Back Home.” When her pen is down, you can find Nancy nestled in nature and soaking in the sun, grooving to live music or jumping out of her comfort zone.
